Not all gifts have to be something you can put on a shelf or wear. If you have a young child, try taking them to a friendly kids franchise as a gift. A day at the zoo, or a Six Flags may not seem like the ideal thing to do as an adult, but sometimes you have to think about what might make you child smile. Even something as simple as a trip to McDonald’s came mean the world to them. Sometimes just spending a little quality time with Mom and Dad is a good enough gift for the kids.
